Influenza (flu) An Effective Alternative Treatment
According to the (National Institute of Allergy and Infectious disease [NAID] 2012) every so often civilization is struck with an Influenza pandemic. For hundreds of years we have faced multiple occurrences of the influenza pandemic and three of those pandemics took place in the 20th century. 1918, 1957 and 1986 are the years in which influenza struck. The largest toll of deaths by influenza occurred in 1918 where it was estimated that 50 million people worldwide were killed. Influenza re-emerged again in 2009 as a pandemic affecting people and animals worldwide (How Influenza Pandemics Occur 2012).
The influenza viruses are varied and adapt year to year in a process called antogenic drift which allows them to evolve and survive. As a result vaccines must continuously be updated to keep up with the changing viruses. 'A' type viruses may also genetically change in a process called antogenic shift where we may not have immunity to its new strain. Pandemics occur depending on if the influenza strain is able to move easily between people. Antogenic shift can occur when two different viruses combine their genetic make up to form a new virus. There happens to be 256 different ways the individual influenza viruses can combine together (How Influenza Pandemics Occur 2012).
The (World Health Organisation [WHO] 2015) informs us that influenza is a fast acting airborne virus which is spread mainly through the air. One drop of respitory mucus can contain hundreds of viruses when sneezed into the environment and can enter another person through the mouth and nose. It then merges with the mucus membranes where it can enter the cells very quickly and then is able to rapidly multiply itself, destroying the cell in the process and does the same to the other cells or returns to the airways and causes inflammation. At this point of inflammation new bacteria is able to enter the body and causes issues like pneumonia which makes a person cough or sneeze spreading the virus (Influenza, an Unpredictable Threat 2015).
As stated in (Organon of Medicine 1982 p.94), during a pandemic a homeopathic physician will not know every detail of a virus by observing a patient as it is known that different people react to viruses and different ways and some worse than others. Observing a number of patients struck with the same virus can present more of a whole picture of the kind of virus they are dealing with. Still, after observing just two patients a physician can get a pretty good idea of the characteristics of a virus (Organon Of Medicine 1982 p.94).
There are a few ways health organisations attempt to slow or prevent an influenza pandemic. Often antiviral drugs are prescribed to prevent influenza and to stop the illness from spreading from person to person. Other ways include raising awareness of community mitigation strategies which include the often washing of hands, not leaving the house when ill and cleaning surfaces and objects that are often handled. After a pandemic has occurred, it can take months before a vaccine becomes available (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention 2017).
In homeopathy the principle of like cures like makes it possible to create a potent remedy from any kind of influenza virus straight away. Remedies in homeopathy for treatment and prevention of influenza include, oscillococcinum, gelsemium, baptisia, byronia, eupatonium, perfoliatum and arsenicum album. Tailor made remedies are also provided for unique cases of treatment (Richard Robinson ca. 2017).
What we do know for a fact is that those who have high immunity and are less affected by viruses such as influenza always have a strong immune system. Should our immune systems always be functioning at the best of their ability, we are much less likely to contract viruses and pass them on. One such way of maintaining a healthy immune system is by taking Ormus, Monoatomic elements which has the ability to work with our bodies on the atomic level so that our immune systems can function to the best of their ability and therefore quickly rid the body of viruses or keep them out all together.
